I think it’s a great idea to make a raid harder than its OG version (aka the epic version) but now how are NEW player to the raid and the game supposed to find people to help teach them if they are all on the new harder version? Or with feats. Why would a player who has high tiers come back down for basic tier levels just to teach someone (people)? It doesn’t make sense to even if that’s your friend. Like go grind on your own. 😂

6 RepliesBungie needs to STOP making the base versions of raids at the level of Desert Perpetual / Salvation's Edge. I say this as someone who enjoys running difficult content and who participates in contest mode. The mechanics getting progressively more complicated has decimated the LFG raiding community. If you don't have your own group, you are probably going to have a bad time trying to learn outside the first week of the raid being out. Go nuts on epic mode / hard mode. But the raid attached to the DLC should be Deep Stone Crypt levels of difficult IMO. It would make the activity more accessible and get more people into raiding.
