Fallen Houses arc from d1 to d2
Do we get a reason why the fallen abandon their Houses. I understand that we killed many devils, winter and wolves in d1 and that the House Kings that was teased so much was destroyed by uldren in forsaken. The Houses are a social construct that the fallen followed for thousands of years and I really liked the aesthetic of the Houses and the prophecy of the Kell of kells that was supposed to by fulfilled by Mithraxs.
There is a lot that the story says bit never follows through logically. Ether is scarce but we do see giant Archons here and there in some seasons. I just felt that the fallen arc was not fulfilling. The ship stealer takes the the echo to the the fallen home planet but we dont get to know if the fallen return home and eliksni return and live happily ever after.
What do you guys think. Was it a good idea to make the fallen allies in the story, an̈d create house dusk . Also Eliksni language

2 RepliesEdited by Guardian,Archon Of Light: 2/1/2026 8:32:04 PMWe supposedly hunted them to near extinction But in reality because Bungie was too lazy to make more than one Eliksni asset model for Vanilla D2 , so they use house Dusk for everything, even in Devils Lair, House Dusk didn't exist at that time We didnt get a new character model untill Beyond Light and House Of Salvation As far if it was a good idea to make them allies, it should have happened sooner, Humans and Eliksni were meant to be united under the Traveler, but The Witness ruined that, same with the Hive, but Savathuun will never change, but there is hope in like minded Hive Guardians like Lakaza They actually came to us still wanting an alliance and refugees after the long drift from Riis, we butchered the delagates, provoking a physically and technological superior species Has far has the way the Eliksni Arc ended, it was asinine, Dispite teasing Eramis's redemption arc, she gives the middle finger has she runs back to riis with the Echo,n and they made Miisrax another false Kell Of Kells because he didnt actually have the light

5 RepliesNo, I don't think it was a good idea. They are all over the tower like a roach infestation that gone out of control. When they eventually turn on us, it will be a bloodbath because they are everywhere. Utrim was trying to protect us, because he knew what the Fallen were all about.
