How to ruin a "fun" event
1. Make a PVP element that requires wins to earn/gild the title
That's it. That's all you ever have to do.
Oh, and throw in the following to really make it painful:
2. Bungie's legendary team balancing that puts players on massive losing streaks against some seriously sweaty opponents.
3. Weapon mods that allow for weapons that should not 1-shot, to now 1-shot in PVP.

1 ReplyYea, all of these mini events are just going to make people give up on the game entirely. But I guess Bungie is in desperation mode to keep player count over 10k every week. Numbers like concurrent players should not matter. Honestly the game only needs 3 events a year if any. Resources would be better used on dlc quality.
