So with the mid seasisode update being delayed, reported until april, I have a warning im delivering in full earnest and with all the love i can muster for what was once one of my favorite developers.
DELIVER!!!,
There better be 0 bugs, this update better be crafted with care. There better be free -blam!- raining on us from eververse on day one. Cosmetics, bright dust, enhancement cores, exotic ciphers, exotic engrams. Yall better be begging us to keep playing and showing up.
Yall need to act like a partner who forgot our anniversary, or you'll be the ex who forgot our anniversary.

7 RepliesEntitled much? If you don't enjoy the game, stop playing. Enough with these sort of pretentious posts.

7 RepliesI think xhoundishx (I think I'm spelling it right) put it in a good way... "40$ is a couple of pizzas on a weekend"... So let's be realistic we definitely got more than a weekend worth of stuff so far so I saa let bungie cook ...

1 ReplyBungie is giving up on Destiny 2 for Marathon? Marathon is so gross (pink and green - ick!) and is a sweaty extraction shooter. Only a small part of the community base will play Marathon.
-
3 RepliesA delay in the bungie world doesn’t mean they’re adding more content and polishing it. A delay in the bungie world means so it doesn’t interfere with marathons release and finding more ways to milk money out of people.
-
You do know the engine has alot of miles right? There's only so much a skeleton crew and duck tape can do But I hear ya. The push back is probably to have extra hands on (Marathon should be done) to help polish the next season/episode (here's wishing). Then we'll get our hands on a masterpiece that will start with "Contacting Destiny Servers" 😁👍

She doesn’t love you back man. Go outside. Work on yourself. Do some push ups.

Mr E...out of this office! - old
seasisode CORRECTION seaside how dare you ask for perfection when you can't give one yourself? oh wait a minute You're just a joke! We know killer, you're sooo perfect! -
6 RepliesSorry dude shes been seeing this other dude behind your back for years and is only coming by once in a while to get in pants.....to steal your wallet.
-
I mean, have you seen the bugs in Arms Week? And that content should have been cleaned up ages ago. I'm just saying, don't get your hopes up.
-
1 ReplyIf you're issuing a warning, then you should also include the consequences if the targeted audience fails to meet your expectations/demands.
There better be 0 bugs
This alone will result in Bungie being non-complainant with your request.

Eva Levante's Christmas oven sends greetings.
-
Bug free? Bungie? No chance.

8 RepliesWe deserve so much over delivery!
-
They've spent three of the past four TWIDs hyping up Arms Week and it still launched broken. Any hope of future Destiny content or events launching without any issues is deeply misplaced.
-
3 Replies"DELIVER!!!, ...*demand* *demand*, etc" is not much of a warning.

Yall need to act like a partner who forgot our anniversary, or you'll be the ex who forgot our anniversary.
Lol no they don't, & no they won't.

2 RepliesEdited by Mark, Scholar of Stars: 2/1/2026 1:04:09 PMNo offense, but take a look back. If you think Bungie will "deliver" you are naive. The company was already gutted by Sony by removing key personnel for their own projects. Destiny 2 is on life support. They prioritized Marathon, which will be, from what I've seen, just another temporary cash grab. They had a Microsoft ex-manager in charge who brought in his package philosophy and who totally failed to deliver a foundation. The Bungie who forged the original Destiny has been gone for a long time. It's a silly format now that they totally failed by relying on additional microtransactions as income. Good, if they deliver -- but they won't, because they are who they are. Edit: I think all of that is pretty sad, because there was endless goodwill from the side of the community, respectively customers, for over a decade.

4 RepliesIf they are allowed to make anything at all post Marathon, expect it to be done by an even more reduced team than we have now. No matter what happens the content will suffer.
-
This is an exotic request... 👍😎👍 🤓🤓🤓

4 RepliesWho the hell do you think you are ?!😂 You are so deluded is wacky ! Why are you still expecting something or anything ?! It’s all about marathon now and Bungie is not same now . When are you going to accept what’s going on ?!

There better be 0 bugs
😆 No game/expansion is without its bugs/glitches/exploits/oobs. Some players are crafty like that. If it can be made, it can be broken.
-
1 ReplyI absolutely 100% agree with you, and I hope Bungie listens.
-
I applaud the optimism that you hope Bungie will release a 'perfect' update. You may need to temper your expectations Guardian. Bungie have undoubtedly neglected their 'cash cow' game, during Marathon's development. Once Marathon launches; it will be all hands on deck to fix the buggy mess they release. Releasing a broken mess of a game, and patching it later, is Bungie's gold standard. Destiny will receive little in the way of love, fixes, and community requests going forward. You should seriously lower your expectations. For what it's worth; I still play the game, and enjoy it to some extent. I haven't paid for content for since The Final Shape. I treat it like a brainless mobile game. Spend an hour, shoot stuff, no context why you are shooting the stuff, then log off. Pew pew pew, is about as good as it gets.

1 ReplyHate to be the bearer of bad news but you’re asking far too much from the team that’s currently left working on Destiny 2. As we’ve seen time and time and time and time again, they only release broken/buggy content now. They simply lack the skill to put out a fully finished product. Whatever updates we’ll see going forward will remain broken, unoriginal and overall subpar. It’s just who they are as a studio now. The current team at Bungle has been riding the coattails from the previous folks who made Bungie a great studio. The current folks running Bungie Studios should alter the name from Bungie Studios to Bungle Studios. I will be silently observing and laughing as we see Marathon fail after release. I bet after Marathon fails, we’ll see one of those good ole “We hear you….. blah, blah, blah” messages from the studio followed by a shutdown or complete reset leadership wise.
