I don't spend a lot of time in PvP (47% raids, 13% pvp), but I really enjoyed my first session with the event playlist. It's different and refreshing to not have grenades and abilities flying about, and I enjoyed going through my vault and dusting off bows and glaives to try them out. Turns out having a crafted Accrued Redemption for GoS with kinetic tremors WAS a great idea, and the new mods juice it up to insanely fun levels. I'm sure Bungie will talk to Ada-1 and get her sorted, and if it takes longer than Thursday they will most likely extend the event. It's cool that they are trying new things, I NEVER would have used a bow (or carried around a glaive) in the crucible if they hadn't done this, so I guess it's working as intended.
