we all know how much money they try to squeeze out of our wallets as of the last couple years. and on top of that they recently changed the seasonal storytelling to having the weekly story quest steps to no story whatsoever. they give us the weekly events such as call to arms, the brig vs tank one, arguably holiday events, and a couple others i dont remember. not only are those supposed to keep us happy since theres no story anymore but theres also the reward passes for each event that bungie is really hoping people will no self control buy every level for every pass. they gave us renegades which was really good and shortly after came the dungeon. typical expension stuff, until u realize the dungeon is literally the only thing we have to do till MARCH. heres where the loss of the seasonal stories hurt the game. then theres the issues with the shady microtransaction sales with the 15 i mean 12 dollar season passes then separate dungeon keys, pay to win via deepsight harmonizers which may not matter anymore given theyre only used for crafted weapons, and plenty of other things were used to which have been covered a billion times so i dont think ill need to go over everything in here. theres also the absurd amount of deaf ears in the company which is horrible to have in a company trying to make a fun and successful game. yea the devs say the problems are up in the food chain in management, but how many times have they shifted the blame to people who arent them? to the point where me and several other people do not care and still blame the devs. now the portal. the portal has completely power crept the entire game. absolutely no one is doing planetary things, raids and dungeons for the endgame rewards outside of dp and the new dungeon, and even down to simple strikes. i would say just add the entire game into the portal to make everything viable, but if that were to happen then what is even the point of the portal. i dont even remember the last time i did a raid, again other than dp, because u cant get the modern day rewards from raids regardless of when they came out even though it should be the only source of high end endgame loot. yet we know they can revamp raids cuz they revamped last wish to the crafting system. and finally with all the feedback they have, theres no way they dont know players are incredibly unhappy and player counts are horribly low. yea they dont wanna go agaisnt management cuz theyll likely lose their job if they do something different for the game regardless if its well recieved. i personally have gotten to the point where im so unhappy with the game where the only reason i dont completely quit is cuz ill get kicked from the clan im in and ive also made transformers fall of cybertron from 2012 playable on my computer so i can play a game i actually enjoy and will play for a good while so if theres one thing to take away from this, its that the people at bungie thought all of this was a good idea until the community told them no. keep in mind all the changes they made to make the portal and grinding better for us Edit: there i made it better to read, hopefully, since there were enough comments about it
