So, I had 15 Gifts in Return that I was waiting to open because I was being spammed with so many rewards that my postmaster was full while grinding non-stop, playing crucible snowball fights to try to accomplish the final of the 10 achievements to earn the Dawning title up until the buzzer at 10am (all night from 1am to 10am) and maybe get a few guaranteed prismatic holo weapons from the Dawning rewards tab and unfortunately I didn't make it before the event ended to fill the bar of stasis/snowball kills to get the title, but surely since I hadn't stopped playing my gifts in return that I've been holding because I didn't want to clear my postmaster without looking at what I had that might be the rolls I wanted to blindly delete them to open the gifts, surely they could still be opened and not have garbage in them. Yes! No garbage... WAIT... No gifts in Return at all!!! So Bungie didn't even grace me with opening my gifts and finding lumps of coal, they deleted the gifts outright! There aren't words to express how it feels to be pressured by the game to pursue the title for the event and be someone who set aside a whole night of finite, precious life to grind for a worthless guilded title that is meaningless and hollow outside of your fondness for a game that everyone in the world gave up on already but you stayed true and committed and opened a few Gifts and saw they were all dropping five star weapons and you knew there were 15 of them waiting for you to open but you wanted to be the completionist the game wants you to try to pursue so you go back in to play 20 more games of snowball fight to hit 15 and fi in ish stasis kills and the reward for that commitment and reverence is, not even a "aww shucks, you're too late, that was risky and you paid for it!" By opening your gifts and seeing the trash, but instead they literally deleted all of them before you could get the message. Just "oh, you thought there was some rules that dictate your experience? Why would you think you would be respectfully communicated to that your effort was worthless? We certainly won't send you communication to warn you not to risk it at the last minute for our meaningless status reward and that you will lose all real rewards if you fail. That might prevent Pain, Anger, Hate, SUFFERING!!!! THIS IS A STAR WARS RIP OFF! Become the dark ball of hate for this game we need you to be! You have no gifts! Promptly remove yourself from existence!" Thank you Bungie for not even honoring me with lumps of coal. You deleted any evidence of my effort and grinding completely. Thank you for that. Why are people not coming back to play this great content? I can't imagine why they might think that the makers of the game aren't doing their due diligence to deliver a AAA experience?! No earthly idea....
