I find it ridiculous, I've done the campaign and I have to either waste my life playing the same campaign two more times, or i pay the same price as I paid for the dlc to skip it to play my other characters. its just shameless greed.

I don't mind redoing it. Feels different on each character
-
Pure greed on Bungle’s end because they know people will buy them! From a business standpoint though, well played Bungle!

1 ReplyIt's a lot of money for such a thing, but TBH I don't mind replaying campaigns. I wish I could replay campaigns from the Red War onwards. Sunsetting really annoyed me.

Because small indie studio bungie needs "ALL of the money" that's why, every little things needs to be monetized, every little free thing needs to have strings attached (example: transmog)
-
Because Bungie knows people are stupid enough to buy it.

Because money + money = more money -
The search for more money

1 ReplyFrankly, with the amount of grinding, FOMO, and general disrespect of player time/investment I can't be bothered to play this game on anything but a single character anyway. And playing only a single character really lays bare how shallow this game truly is.
-
1 ReplyIts not greed, its business. They know people are stupid enough to pay for it. Cant blame bungie for this
-
Because someone mistakingly uttered the sentence "I would literally pay to skip this for my other characters".
-
Why did you pay $40+ for something you don’t want to play? The vast majority of the game does not require you to touch the new DLC on other characters, including all of the portal activities. Even the new dungeon requires doing 1 mission or just join someone who has done a single mission. The only content locked behind renegades is renegades content, which if you hate it that much to pay to skip then I don’t see why you’d want to just play more of it.
-
2 Replies"Greed" Back in the days if you finished it with one character you could skip it on other characters
-
But did you buy it though?
-
3 Repliescuz lazy community keep buying it
-
Just play the game like it’s meant to be played and wouldn’t have this
-
Well, blame people begging Bungie for skips knowing well enough. Bungie will put a price on it.
-
Because some people value their time more than money. Since people pay it, they charge it. Simple supply and demand. Any company that is for profit makes their price as high as the market will support. So, the choice is yours. If you want the characters to be current, you can either pay or play.
