I'm tired of getting two shotted by everything but the weakest enemies in grandmaster portal missions. Something spawns in behind you and you're dead before you can react or find cover. At 400 power I thought maybe I just need to suffer until I level up a little more. At 450 I don't have any problem with damage. I've got a fun arc build using ionic traces with quickly recharging grenades, but a couple of minotaur snipers can ruin my day before I even figure out they're there. There's not even an armor or shield customization system or linear progression of increasing stats like health. It doesn't even change until you get to 100??? Whose stupid idea was that? What am I missing?

As a hunter main I die very quickly. I can spec with damage reduction and healing, but unfortunately the time to kill with a hunter is so much longer than warlocks and titans that they are getting all the kills while I end up with lots of assists and as a consequence of that I’m not getting my damage reduction and healing to proc. Very close to leaving the game altogether, because of the limited choice of matchmade fireteam activities
