Exotic Class Items and Ergo Sum

These two should be craftable once you unlock the perks That would clear up a lot of vault space

  • I've seen bits of lore saying that Dredgen Bael is searching for our grave in the Corridors of Time. Our Ergo Sum sword is on our grave there. Bungie could do something really good here... They probably won't.

  • Exotic class item should just get an update to make the exotic traits slottable mods. Ergo Sum should be like the Lightsaber with slottable mods as well.

      For those of you who dislike the OPs idea, or crafting in general, how did you feel about the praxic blade, which does exactly what the OP wants for ergo sum and the class items.

      • I personally think we should just be able to combine Class Exotics. Essentially have 3 total class exotics put into one. That instantly divides the total pool down to 64 and you can put all your favorite rolls into one exotic.

      • This is not about obtaining rolls. They drop easily now. There are many trash rolls but if you horde all class item variations for all characters this totals at a minimum 209 different ones. This does not count variation in max light levels and min/max. Trash is also relative since viability changes season to season. Agree something needs to be done. Just glad we have more vault space. Really wish there was a good tool to help sort since DIM does not work well with exotics.

      • It would’ve been great if they had given the Ergo Sum the same level of craft ability as the Praxic Blade. They should’ve tied different glows, cosmetics and perks to different Pale Heart activities.

        • The argument for these being craftable might be valid if you could change perks on the fly. But since you have to go back to the Relic every time you want to change them around it would just add to the tedium. Of course, you could make multiple different copies with different perks, but then you're right back to the same issue with the RNG versions. Crafting was a way to get the perfect rolls on a weapon, not every possible combination. It's a great system when each weapon only has maybe 2-3 god roll perk combos, not dozens of "collectible" perk combos.

            • I believe you can focus one perk on every class item drop already? I wish they had never ever brought the massive mistake of crafting into the game.
