You guys did a good job with this DLC

Even if the community doesn't support it at the level they should because of your past actions. [u]Sound Design / Music[/u] ✓✓✓✓✓ [u]Narrative[/u] ✓✓✓✓ (want M rating story) [u]Blue (Drifter's Ghost)[/u] ✓✓✓✓✓ [u]Destinations (should be explorable)[/u] ✓✓✓✓ [u]Praxic Blade[/u] ∞ [u]Dungeon[/u] ✓✓✓✓✓ [u]Lawless Frontiers[/u] ✓✓✓✓ [b][u]Current State of PvP[/u][/b] ✓✓ [u]Weapons & Armor[/u] ✓✓✓✓ Glad you confirmed that you will not make a habit of doing extensive cross overs, but this union seemed right because of how Stars Wars inspired aspects of this universe. And you did well, I feel, at this time of content release. Edited multiple times amending a few things. Music [spoiler]The John Williams motifs blended into an Imperial Cabal March of foreboding darkness was very satisfying. Thank you for that treat. The score for this DLC and especially the dungeon have been fantastic. [/spoiler] [u]Narrative[/u] [spoiler][b]YOU GUYS HAVE GREAT STORY TELLING[/b]. This is personal criticism due to the fact that this is a T rated game and not an M for mature. I feel much of the story telling has to remain at the peripheral to reach a wider, younger audience. This isn't inherently a problem and makes sense for a video game, but I think you could do more with the story if you weren't limited to the written lore to get to the true the nitty-gritty. I am not one of those people offended by your choice to further explore the trauma of the Guardians and others fighting on behalf of Sol and all its inhabitants that fight against entropy. Or their motivations of love for the people that inspire heroism in them. I just feel moments would be less cliche if written for a more mature audience. And the Praxic blade could have been allowed to seriously maim and dismember. It was really a "✓✓✓✓", these were my personal views. I like revisiting the Dredgen stuff a lot. Love the Dredgen stuff and the Easter Eggs and revamped Factions, Syndicates.[/spoiler] Destinations [spoiler]These need to be explorable. Especially if temporary. People need to be able to look through this. The way you guys brought Star Wars easter eggs into the Destiny universe I found very satisfying. The game shouldn't feel like little pocket throne worlds, but the explorable, living, immersive massive thing it is. I understand PvP maps are labor intensive and projects demanding multiple teams coordinating. Perhaps you should make a Bungie Forge System and allow players to design maps if you can't do this consistently at your current level. [b]When you design Nessus to look like Kashyyyk, Endor, Dagobah and bring those elements in and they don't make it to PvP or just disappear from the game, that's infuriating[/b]. [/spoiler] PvP [spoiler]Trial's spirit is mangled and lost in this new tiered reward system. Adepts power crept and the accolades for participation are the same as success and the stress that comes to achieve it. The juice is not worth the squeeze. This community is unappreciative of your new maps. They still need to come even if they are hard to make. If you have to, make forge and let players make pvp social games. [b]Do it.[/b] *Palpatine voice* The comp emblems look nice. The armor set bonuses are good. Do something about the accessibility devices overuse and the cheaters/exploiters.[/spoiler] Weapons and Armor [spoiler]I am frustrated by the loss of access to Bushido armor and weapons from earlier in the year. But I love the set bonuses and the new heat weapons. Praxic blade is spectacular.[/spoiler] What's going on with the countries that were banned? Why do some game developers still allow for American games there but you guys cannot? I want my friends around the world to experience this. An innocent civilian population with no real control over its leaders should not be punished in their hobbies for the evil atrocities committed outside their purview. Throwing stones and glass houses and all that. Black pots and kettles.

    Balancing the Light and Dark. - old

    Big claps to the teams who managed to pull off nearly perfectly blending the two universes together, without making it feel too uncanny. Really love how you can identify that it is mostly a reference and not forcing it ([i]see what I did there, heh[/i]) to be something that it isn't. Though I wouldn't say it is all perfect, I will say that I very much enjoyed the experience as a huge Destiny and Star Wars fan, and loved every minute of it. It has definitely made me want to see more of the Praxics and of Bael.

  • While everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's how it should be, I don't think Star Wars was the right choice for crossovers. The lore doesn't click for me. I am a Star Wars fan (nerd level) and Destiny is an "Original". For me, a crossover with "Stranger Things" would have made more sense (just an example), but this didn't. Just because darkness and light are common themes, doesn't mean it can work together. The universe was too far away to make a connection.

    • Let's put this into perspective - this season is better than the last but it's still one of the worst we've seen. Difficulty spike is still completely out of reach for the average player in average activities.

      • Expansion not a DLC expansion is something that gives you content that expenditure player experience ADOC is direct update of existing content ash and iron was a DLC renegades is an expansion. Example every time we get an expansion it gives you a new destination which we got with renegades whereas a content update like a DLC doesn't give you a new location it gives you old content but updated.

          Mostly agree tbh Only some minor gripes with latest dlc .no health regen in campaign so limited builds quite a bit .last boss on new dungeon shooting through walls ,phalanx bonking players of the map,teleport to other realm can make you appear in the void an fall to your death and gladiators glitch during there attack animation and send you flying 100mph .praxic blade exotic mission timer .campaign last boss ,praxic blade boss ,last dungeon boss are not really made for solo players .invasions only go in the favor of players that have enough time to level up all vendors in the first week of dlc launch

          Music. I play without music and have done so for years now, so i can't comment on that. Destinations. Canteen is just a hub so nothing special. Europa is just ice and snow and boring. Mars kind of an interesting wasteland look. Venus swampy jungle that looks pretty good and i would of liked to seen a planet in that style. Dungeon. Boring and tedious. Encounters, visuals and the bosses are just boring nothing special. Weapons. The heated weapons are just not that very good. Overheats too quickly and both the auto rifle and sniper rifle can't even deal with the new heat shields. Praxis blade. This one clearly got all of the work, they really didn't want to screw it up with the Light saber. Although the hit detection on throwing the blade is very inconsistent and it can even get stuck on the terrain. Pvp. I don't play pvp so i can't tell. Lawless frontiers. I wish there were more variety between each faction and planets. Doing the exact same gets tiering real quick. Also the objectives are not good. either kill hoards of enemies or carry a thing from one place to another. During those times enemies will just instantly respawn, leaving you no breathing time. Fire and ice. I do like this exotic mission, however getting the damn dark balls at the boss fight is painful, not only is that painful, but barely any cover and the face that the boss can shoot straight through the platforms and that he is a minigun user. So many deaths. Finding your way to the first encounter is easily the best part. I like how the game didn't tell you squat. Exploring and finding the way by yourself is so much more enjoyable then just having a marker showing you the way. It is not a terrible season, but after a few runs, it just get forgettable.

I like the dungeon for the most part; didn't do contest. I just can't ever get into "being graded" like elementary school to decide [i]if I'm worthy[/i] of pixels.

                    • I've been enjoying this season as much as Witchqueen, it's solid. I just wish Bungie would/could release two real bangers in a row, this "one good expansion, one bad expansion" routine is hurting the game.

                        • Got to admit I am enjoying it more than I thought I would, but not sure how long the novelty will last. There doesn't seem to be much else once the campaign and the activity are finished. The old strikes and stuff in the portal isn't going to keep interest for long.

                          • I just beat the Edge of Fate campaign and I loved it. The story with Ikora, Lodi, Orin and sprinkle of Drifter was a fun ride even on Legendary. I can't wait to get into Renegades. It looks so fun.

                                    • I’d dock 1 point from weapons due to the weapons from last season not being available at all right now - locking some good weapons and armor behind fomo And I’d raise the story up by 1/2 a point bc Bale is an actually really good villain and managed to not be just a kilo ren rip-off. Like he’s good enough story wise that I actually want to see more of him unlike the failure that is the Conductor. But yeah, rest I agree with
