Red
So. We’ve all fantasised about the red subclass, correct? And we’ve seen that spoiler image thing from a while back of a weird ability that doesn’t exist? Now, did renegades feel at all familiar? Nightfall station. The eclipse energy. It’s just like the shared hypothesis some of us had about the red subclass. This might sound far fetched. But. WHAT IF. We eventually somehow harness eclipse energy and learn to use it?

1. Eclipse Energy strips away Paracausal energy (or at least Light and Darkness). It being born of the Nine makes it interesting, because Eclipse Energy could be in some form, Paracausal itself, having relations with Dark Matter. I want to see how Eclipse interacts with Awoken Magic and Wish Magic. 2. Eclipse Energy isn’t Light or Darkness, meaning it doesn’t fit with the Dichotomy of the Guardian, who has three Light subclasses, and only two Dark. That, and Eclipse wouldn’t be able to be added to Prismatic because of its inherent Anti Light and Darkness properties. 3. Counterpoint. Eclipse Energy, along with Resonance had the clear showings in design and effect to be a potential Subclass. Resonance with the yellow ripple effect coming off the Dark Brown and Black structure, the sharp angular nature of structures followed by the soft, blooming echos, and Eclipse with the almost fracture like appearance, like you’re pealing away the layers of reality to ascend into a power that comes from elsewhere. To this end though, we never saw Resonance become a Subclass in spite of the fact that Resonance shows clear and distinct visual similarities to Subclass design.
