It's been a long time since Proton has came out. Other major games like Dead by Daylight and Marvel Rivals allow Proton to play their games on Linux. Both of the games use anti-cheat. Why not Destiny 2 as well? With the Steam machine releasing next year, those players will be most likely missing out on Destiny 2 then, since it runs on Linux (by default).
