It's my understanding that there was a survey that went around. I (like any other person) have ideas on how to make the game better. Anyone can think of things that they might think would cool to see in the game, but my focus was on the issues the game is currently facing right now, and in addition the potential problems it might face in the future and how to solve them before they even happen
There was a QA spot that opened up not to long ago, I understand that QA isn't a consulting job (but -blam!- knows, these days recruiters would put in something like "production manager" for a job that is actually just warehouse work) but I imagine that there would have to be some level of overlap to communicate to the rest of the team "hey this is a issue, here is how we could solve it".
And now I'm hearing that the people that did the survey were given silver? I understand that I'm not entitled to anything (other than the content I paid for) from bungie... but come on?! Is 13,000+ hours not enough?
Regardless, I'd like to help, but they just don't seem to care about thoughts from someone with over 13,000 regrettable hours...

I did not get a survey either, I think it was mostly pc players and some playstation players that got the survey. Not sure if xbox users (like myself) also got surveys. As for your 13,000+ hours, you are pretty far off of your estimate. Unless you have multiple main accounts, you only have 6,500 hours played in Destiny 2. If you are including your AFK time, then you have a total of 11,278 hours logged in on Destiny 2. (4,762 hours were logged at AFK time) Understandably, If I played 13k+ hours, I might also be upset for not being chosen for a quality of life survey. However, inflating your actual play hours by 200% plus some is not a proper justification for being upset for not being chosen for a survey. *All playtime stats pulled from timewastedondestiny . com*
