Account permanently stuck in New Light onboarding – vendors and power locked
My Destiny 2 account is stuck in the New Light onboarding state and cannot progress.
Symptoms:
• Zavala is still in tutorial mode (no bounties, no rank, only weekly/focused boxes)
• All gear drops are 200–300 Power with “+” icons and never scale
• Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit drops do not increase Power
• Playlist progression does not unlock
• Legendaries do not drop
• All vendor menus are restricted
What I have tried:
• Completed subclass unlock quests
• Completed Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit matches
• Completed Arms Dealer manually
• Completed Tower onboarding
• Opened all vendors
• Opened Techsec crate
• Created a new character and completed the Cosmodrome intro to the Tower
• Linked my Steam and Xbox accounts into one Bungie profile
• Restarted the game and launcher multiple times
Despite this, my account is still flagged as if it has not completed New Light.
This appears to be an issue with the “New Light Onboarding Complete” account flag not being set.
Could support please resync or correct my onboarding state so my vendors and Power progression unlock?

Zavala no longer is a bounty giver since vanguard was depreciated he just gives new gear and random tier 5's on a weekly basis

[Bounties and ranks were discontinued with EoF. Anything outside a Portal activity is legacy and therefore cannot be used to reach 301-550. Anything you select in the World tab of the directory is legacy. Unless you post a pic specific to your issue, there is nothing wrong. You merely don't understand the new changes.
