I matched up with a couple of very good players and we ran The Coil. What's the deal with the revive tokens? It would let me spend those shard things but would not credit the group with more than a few tokens. Anyone else notice this issue?
If you don't get credit then don't charge for them!
(If I'm missing here something please let me know.)

Yeah, same happened to me. I wasn't paying much attention to the modifiers as I only ran it once for the weekly challenge as I'm not chasing the scores, I spent everything on revives at the start and after each phase, didn't get what I purchased. 😥

Exact same thing happened to me. Tried to buy like 15 and only came away with 4

I just cost a matchmaking team a few revives in Proving Grounds because the lag is so Impressive this morning I somehow got stuck under the tank boiler plates in the middle room and kept death-looping. Just shut the game down since I couldn't go to orbit either and I didn't want to mess up the other people's run, but wow...that was grim.

2 RepliesLets just say this event was not well thought-out. The coil is a unique activity, in that you run a total of FOUR "paths" and visit Riven to purchase activity boons before each path, including Revive Tokens. The new portal system includes an "extinction" modifier which removes all revive tokens... and also has penalties for going over the allotted time, such as removing all the revive tokens when the clock runs out. My guess is that you joined a match-made Coil run where one of these mods were active, but the game still allowed you to buy revive tokens despite them being disabled. Another nonsensical note about the coil : Even if you have zero revive tokens, and someone dies in the middle of a "path"... they will automatically respawn if one (or both) of the other players is able to complete the path & "pull" them to the Riven room.

If extinction is a modifier no revives are allowed. Even if you buy them from riven.
