I'm not joking. Everything listed in that survey would be amazing. SRL, Combined Arms, proper attention for Gambit, everything.

The question is, are they really going to do what's listed on the survey or it's just an obligatory survey that end up being ignored anyway?

1 ReplyEdited by BoomboxCollosuss: 11/21/2025 5:54:30 PMTheirbiggest mistake was not making a D3. Mixing the storylines after Final Shape has just made it impossibly confusing for newcomers. Until the onboarding for new players isn't an absolute disaster and convoluted mess, this game will never recover or garnish any significant number of new players. The mismanagement and total lack of perspective is woefully apparent. No "survey" or free vactions for streamers to have a "summit" is going to compensate for that. P.S. Youtubers and streamers are NOT your player base Bungie. Get this simple fact through your leaderships' thick skulls, please.

did not get a survey, so got no clue. I do not know what SRL is and frankly, based on bungie's latest implementation, they would screw it up in more than one way. I do not think there is anything they can do at this point to save this game. It may struggle on for a while but I do not think it will ever be back to it's highest levels. They can't average this few of players forever and support the servers they have.

8 RepliesBungle seems to think they know what players want. It’s safe to say, they’re not listening to their fanbase. I’m pretty sure they’re intentionally trying to make this game bad in hopes it’ll drive players towards Marathon. They’ve spent the majority of this season undoing changes they made at the beginning of the season. I’ve never seen such a train wreck of bad decisions mixed with terrible execution.

You’re not gonna see people playing it though lol. Just give me raids, dungeons, strikes, solo ops and campaigns.

Isn't it interesting that 48hours after the Red War law suit settles, Bungie's dog-ate-my-homework excuse as to why they couldn't play any Red War content appears to be nullified as well. Hopefully 'stupid' left the building with Parsons and Bungie can get on with the business of bringing itself back from the brink. They must have started work on bigger vaults the day after Pete-the-p^1ck left the business. Let Red War 2.0 be next!

Would it? For Combined Arms it depends on how much Bungie cracks down on anti-cheat. You've seen how bad normal Crucible is, you think being in a tank is going to protect you? As for Gambit, it depends on who's doing the testing and under what circumstances. Remember how Gambit first launched, everyone praised how it worked, but that was only because it was tested under strict load out options. As soon as it was available for everyone with no restrictions, people immediately broke it. Finally SRL, I'll be honest, I would love to see SRL return. But the big factor is how deep is it? Look at what happened with fishing, people were hyped, but that immediately got shot down once we realized how shallow it was and we all got bored of it within a day.

I would love to see Combined Arms and SRL return, as well as more resources for Gambit. However, there’s always the chance Bungie throws out this kind of teasing information to give people hope about what the future might bring and boost player numbers. How much of it are they seriously looking at? My hope is that Sony has big plans for Destiny and wants to invest. But I’ll wait to see concrete proof before I get too carried away.

I would love to see most of them in D2, Having sidekicks or a trophy room(player housing) doesn't interest me at all but the rest sounds good🙂.

2 RepliesSeems like a joke at this point. They obviously have had that feedback for years. Putting it into a survey seems like salt in the wound. Unless their plan post Renegades is to stop making new stuff and bring back/update old stuff. At least they wouldn’t have to walk that back. They already announced a gambit focus in the future; why was that in the survey? Just do it or don’t. I don’t get why it’s so -blam!- complicated to make a decision that the community likes and roll with it.

1 ReplyI was oddly excited to see "New Void Melees" on the list. No offense to Pocket Singularity or Smoke Bombs, but neither of them are as fun as other melee offerings. Effective? Sometimes, sure! But fun? Not really a lot of fun. Agreed, from what I saw, Bungie has some good ideas in incubation, I just wish they had enough people working there to implement all of them. Number one change I didn't see listed: Making Titans not stand like they're holding in a fart. Maybe someday...

You are getting maybe 0.5 of them at most. And it will be buggy to the point it is unplayable too.

1 ReplyThey send those surveys for years, literally. Once in a season they send those questions. You know what it changed? Nothing. They ignored all requests, they instantly fixed things that made life of players easier, it took months for them to fix bugs that blocked some side quests, they do always opposite things from what players asking. Today they listen, because they in very bad situation and understand that nobody will buy Marathon after Destiny 2 problems. Look at today's announcements of changes in exotics, only buffs. But, I think "it's too l late to drink water, if your kidneys fall off".

4 RepliesThat all sounds mid & rehashed.
