Earlier today I came across a video in my feed that was discussing a survey that was sent out to selected individuals within the community about voting on a list of desirable possible changes to Destiny 2, and although I am not a reciever of an email, I would like to chime in. I do like Gambit(don't hurt me!), but it should not be a focus at this point for resources to save the game at this time. As a multi-year walk away destiny player I would need to see consistenty in consumer minded, intelligent, and throughly tested decision-making when making game mechanic tweaks are made instead of changes that feel tone deaf for me to consider a return. The TWO things that turned me away, along with the introduction of the stasis subclasses and how broken they were at the time, was the absolute lack of value of my time and money invested into destiny. No paid for or story driven content should EVER be removed from being accessible. Vaulted content should be brought back IMMEDIATELY and NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. Sunsetting is another complaint in this vein and I wish it was just a massive reduction(like 0.1-1%) of drop rate instead of pure removal from the loot pool so I can still complete my collections if I have to be away for a time, but that is a separate minor complaint. My time felt so undervalued from how long it took to achieve tasks or to aquire resources and desired loot that it would eat into exceedingly more time than I set aside to complete on a regular basis and it became to tiring to "keep up". My production and availability to do things around the home have exponentially increased, as well as a massive reduction in frustration towards the game and the Bungie team, since walking away that I now need these things to change for me to consider coming back to the franchise. I do miss the game, the experience, and the community, and I long to come back to something great again. I miss you planet Titan.
