Agreed. You need to kill high value target to have “ANY” chance at a top 1-10% score but the spawn values are at best 1/10 to 1/20. Add that to the RNG in which enemies are shielded with drones, if the drones bug out and can’t be shot, plus the RNG in which bonus objective you get (ability kills/precision kills etc) means every run is a f…ing dice role. To make an event where people are supposed to be competing against each other but to add such a crap TON of RNG to every run is a tone-deaf, idiocy move on bungies part. What game developer thought we’ll have a community competitive mode where people compete for scores based on knowing game mechanics, builds, add spawns etc only to add layers and layers of random RNG into the mix is a good idea. I’ve reached rank 11, I ran hyper net and Avalon conquest multiple times. Every fail,I learned add spawns, builds, mechanics etc and the only randomness was the odd bane. But this crap is beyond stupid. Why should I compete against someone who happens to have better RNG than me on a given run, but I understand the activity, mechanics, adds spawns better. In “ANY” competitive game people are given an equal footing. Either make the whole event have identical add spawns, modifiers etc to keep people competing on an equal level of just shelve the whole f…ing event
