What’s with the banning of people in the forums?

Serious question to the Ninja moderators that monitor these forums; why do you ban people on here for calling out the obvious problems with not just Destiny 2 but with Bungle Studios as well? There’s a very clear lack of quality control, originality and overall performance issues taking place at Bungle Studios so why try to silence a customer? Calling those things out needs to happen, and we need more of it. What we don’t need is more lackluster, lazy content.

As you can see from just opening the forum, criticism is allowed here, both of the game and of Bungie as a company. Topics and comments that get moderated are the ones that step over the line towards disrespect or harassment to the people that are working on the game. I moved the topic to the proper place and i'll lock it since it's discussing moderation, but I hope the explanation above gives some perspective.

  • They do so when people break it but then they make a comment about it which you're supposed to message the moderators about it to avoid witch hunts which then results in another which then results in a few people getting upset and complaining about it a bunch. Generally the most common one is not posting names "Name and shame" because it starts witch hunts.

It's how some things are called out that breaks the terms and conditions of posting.

    • If they break the code of conduct they get moderated. It is not just negative comments or calling out the issues, as you can clearly look around the forums, there are tons of posts both negative and call outs. Follow the rules and you can be as critical as you want.
