One thing I liked in the Portal was that for the first time Destiny had a difficulty option. Sometimes you don't wanna grind like crazy, you just want to chill playing a strike or an exotic mission in solo without too much effort.
Since power deltas were introduced, for some reason the possibility of being overleveled was taken away. I genuinely don't care if it gives me little to no rewards, but I don't see why we can't choose to play an overleveled activity once we cross a certain power treshold, please give this back to casual players

4 RepliesAs I've been saying for ages, there's no reason to have a level system if we don't benefit from it. Our reward for leveling up is being able to nerf ourselves more to get gear our level at lower reward tiers, but probably every activity we do, we're finishing at least 1 tier higher anyway, so that is redundant by default. If there really should be power deltas, it should be a power reduction instead of a cap, the reduction scaling with your equipped level. If I'm 550, Ultimate should only nerf me by 30. If they're still worried about the game being too easy, there's a simple solution: raise enemy levels. If we shouldn't benefit from leveling up, they should have no say in how easily we get the best loot. Whether that's letting us focus/ attune any weapon we want or letting us increase our chances of a specific roll on them. It's only fair, and therefore good for the game considering how low players are and how terrible/ buggy basically every event has been since after Solstice with no compensation to the players.
