People like making builds, so why do you make it difficult to get the armor needed for the build to drop

What use is attunement and the ghost mod to get certain types of armor, when you have a better chance of getting what you want if you turned attunement and mods off. It would be nice if the armor I try to attune would be the only thing dropping with the armorer mod on ghost being the only type. Sure, I get it you're trying to get more people to play more often and longer, but how's that working out for you? The grind isn't fun to get the builds you want so you can play the activities that you really enjoy playing. You've shot yourself in the foot with that strategy and you're too stubborn to admit you made a mistake, but the player count don't lie Bungie.

Also, why are the armor mods occupying the same slot as the glimmer mod? I actually ran out of glimmer trying to gear my second and third characters. I'd rather give up XP boosts for the armor mod.
