Come on, Bungie. The Hunter and warlock one are more like aspects, not exotics. Give us something INTERESTING TO USE!
See, people play the game when it is FUN. Innovative ideas are what we want, not the same stuff we already have in an exotic chestpiece (Vesper) and another aspect (Frostpulse).
Suspend’s DoT will likely be useless, we already have a dumb amount of ways to unravel and suspend anyway. If you’re running a DoT suspend build, why would you use this over Necrotics?
I’ll say it again — INNOVATIVE IDEAS keep us playing. But so far, this has just been boring. Warlocks want something NEW and UNIQUE, not just some stat boost. Stop giving us kick after kick after we’re already down.
This exotic is completely useless among all other Strandlock builds. Suspend is only really useful for survival in endgame content, and I know for a fact warlocks aren’t diving into a group of ads to suspend them. You can’t even call it a ‘last resort’, Warlock’s rift casting time takes a whole business week to get off.
You know what would have been innovate? Flying threadlings that collect ammo and orbs for you. That’s an awesome idea.

18 RepliesWith the full perk released it sounds SO MUCH better. Suspend targets when you cast rift. Suspend deals damage over time. Suspending targets provides healing over time. Anything that breaks out of suspension takes more damage (I think this is just bosses/mini bosses who move far enough) Defeating suspended targets heals you a moderate amount. Providing a pseudo devour to broodweaver is a much better sounding perk than "SuSpEnD oN rIfT"
