We need a solar area denial GL
I was just think about a solar area denial GL with burning ambition and auto loading holster. That would be sick. These GL's are -blam!- without auto loading. Please and thanks.

Though in my opinion, Burning Ambition sounds almost too good for that kind of weapon. That seems like the kind of situation where Burning Ambition on Area Denials would probably be tuned to inflict less scorch to balance out the weapon with the massive number of damage ticks the weapon itself could cause. I could probably see it working where shooting it at a stand-still boss could be enough to cause the boss to ignite and have almost enough extra damage ticks to start scorching the boss again, though maybe it could be fine to let it last long enough to actually start scorching again in one burst. Though I think if it were able to cause said boss to ignite more than once in a single burst without other scorch factors, that would probably be too much.

Was the idea would be fun, I would say in a manner speakingly essentially already have that with solar abilities. Between parring tripmine with scorch, or how sunspots work, every class essentially already has what you're asking for. Now before you get a pitchfork. I would still like to have a weapon like you're suggesting, just because I think these witherhoard knock off launchers are awesome.
