Come on, Bungie. The Hunter and warlock one are more like aspects, not exotics. Give us something INTERESTING TO USE!
See, people play the game when it is FUN. Innovative ideas are what we want, not the same stuff we already have in an exotic chestpiece (Vesper) and another aspect (Frostpulse).
Suspend’s DoT will likely be useless, we already have a dumb amount of ways to unravel and suspend anyway. If you’re running a DoT suspend build, why would you use this over Necrotics?
I’ll say it again — INNOVATIVE IDEAS keep us playing. But so far, this has just been boring. Warlocks want something NEW and UNIQUE, not just some stat boost. Stop giving us kick after kick after we’re already down.
This exotic is completely useless among all other Strandlock builds. Suspend is only really useful for survival in endgame content, and I know for a fact warlocks aren’t diving into a group of ads to suspend them. You can’t even call it a ‘last resort’, Warlock’s rift casting time takes a whole business week to get off.
You know what would have been innovate? Flying threadlings that collect ammo and orbs for you. That’s an awesome idea.

3 RepliesIt all depends on how much damage the damage over time does. I think it’s too early to complain lol. Let’s just wait and see.
-
No they didn't lol. That exotic is going to be a problem for everyone going against it, pvp and pve. I'll go on record now and state it will get nerfed in the first month from all the complaining from players about it in pvp, and the overuse of it in pve.
-
I have no doubt the new Warlock exotic will be busted when paired with Weavewalk and casting it to exit and suspened but last I checked, the class is called Broodeaver and threadlings still suck. How about Arcane Needles burst into Threadlings and add 1 perched threadling like cmon. Suspend was the Titan identity for Strand.

The rift suspension is sounding trash. However, if it synergises with any suspend source for DoT, burst damage when suspension ends and to heal you - you will have some buildcrafting availability there. I am worried that the hunter exotic will be trash for pve, be OP for pvp and then will get nerfed in a few weeks like it always does with hunters, affecting the pve too making the exotic even more useless. Titan exotic just looks like a lot of fun and the fact it foes a blinding blast on impact gives it soke viability in higher levels. Is it gonna be a meta for end game content? Probably not anywhere close but it will be pretty good for everything else it seems, pve and pvp.

19 RepliesWith the full perk released it sounds SO MUCH better. Suspend targets when you cast rift. Suspend deals damage over time. Suspending targets provides healing over time. Anything that breaks out of suspension takes more damage (I think this is just bosses/mini bosses who move far enough) Defeating suspended targets heals you a moderate amount. Providing a pseudo devour to broodweaver is a much better sounding perk than "SuSpEnD oN rIfT"

It all started going wrong for Warlocks when they had some decent power upon stasis release and then a week later most of it was nerfed... Still think stasis was the best power fantasy destiny ever had! Even for just a moment!

Lol 😭😭😭

1 ReplyI like the idea of suspend. Hate that is on rift. I'm not running head first into the middle of a fight to set up a rift. 😂 It won't end well in high end activities.
-
1 ReplyHunter one HAS to be someone at Bungie trolling. There is no way after an uproar about Hunter being behind in PvE and getting too many PvP things they just give us another PvP exotic. There is just no way.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Rage Swap: 11/4/2025 7:31:41 PMIf rifts casting time was immediate, this would be good. No one is going to use this. Add this to the list of unimaginative junk.
-
Personally I never cared about any other warlock exotic once I got Necrotic Grip a few years ago. Now I have the exotic class item with an extra melee charge and the Necrotic grip perk😁 so now I still don't care(unless something better comes along but doubt it) but yeah the new one in Renegades doesn't look to interesting honestly.

Dunno bout anyone else but the hunter exotic seems like a weak version of using Gyrfalcon with a repulsor brace gun. Secondly it prob tied to movement, and will not register movement just like the modifier that shocks you in PvE content Its like yay overshield good, but you're in content where the enemies can split a needle at 1000 yards, have high tracking bullet storm content so that shield is only up when transitioning between zones

Bungie shafts all of their players.

3 RepliesWeavewalk -> get close to enemies -> rift It actually very easy and safe especially now since the weavewalk buffs. Also here's the full perk description if you want more than a half sentence description and 3 second clip that doesn't fully represent the exotic. Take the source with a grain of salt ofc (im not opening a the game post article you cant make me) It definitely has potential to be useful on pure strand depending on the dot damage and healing values. It also has synergy with all 4 aspects on strand: Weavewalk: see above Weavers call: rift uptime The wanderer: tangles apply dot and healing Mindspun + shackle grenade: every kill makes suspend -> dot + healing

4 RepliesYour not taking off Getaway Artists anyway Warlocks already got more or less 2 new Exotic gloves, along with the buddy and grenade reworks leading to the most busted fun builds in PvE Let Titans and Hunters have something
-
2 RepliesI don’t have a Titan, but I know they can pop their barricade with flaming suspend somehow. They gave Warlocks something Titans already have while Titans get some crazy innovative movement tech. And hunters just get to be raw tanks?
-
I thought all three exotics seemed cool and somewhat useful. Way more useful than a lot of the ones already in the game. I'm a bit worried about the Titan exotic's effects in PvP though.
-
1 ReplyNo way man. That warlock exotic is going to be sooooooo strong. Sure the titans got the most creative one but I think warlocks will be the one that’s the most useful.
-
Lol Hunters get yet another pvp exotic
-
2 RepliesAs cool as the Titan one is, do you honestly think flying in the air where I can get sniped by aimbot PvE snipers will be meta defining either?
-
If it works in prismatic with Phoenix dive it could be solid but otherwise i agree rift animation too long for this to be super useful.
-
Warlock exotic has a better aspect already called frostpulse. At least if u freeze something it won't shoot back this exotic I just worse in everyday. Also no one uses frostpulse what makes them think people will use this thing.

15 RepliesTbh warlocks probably have the best exptic of all 3 Ik jetpack looks cool, but it sure wont be "good" just a mobility tool that probably have a lot of downsides (cooldowns, activation conditions etc...) And you cant build around a "jetpack" like you can build around a suspend exotic.

2 RepliesI’ve been hunter exclusive since D1 had a look at the other classes but don’t have the time to put into 3 characters. I’ve been frustrated that I always seem to finish last or middle post match for kills. I started playing warlock. Now I’m topping the post match for kills and orbs generated. Hunters don’t feel underpowered, it just takes too long to kill enemies, and warlocks and titans are destroying everything before I can finish them off, so lots of assists for hunters. I feel the problem is making hunters more powerful in Pve will make them overpowered on PvP

Use the Dive on pris to get a free suspend.
