So, when, Bungie?

So, when will my precious Tier 5 gear make a difference, Bungie? I'm still taking more or less the same damage to everything and still dying to the same random BS that plagues this game forever. You want to go with the MMORPG route and implement tiered gear and sets —fine. Make them worth the time we invest in farming them. This is the only game I play that the more "geared" I get, the weaker it feels. Except for some really over-the-top builds, everything else feels like playing with a glass cannon, without the cannon. Make up your damn mind. If this game is going to be some Souls-like game, then give me a precise game, bug-free, without a gazillion random things blowing up left and right, doing the bulk of the damage, even when you kill the enemies. Or, if this will be a real MMORPG, gimme gear where the stats have an impact better than CDs slightly faster than before. Your game is dying because it's not fun. Nobody will keep playing a game where, no matter what, you can randomly get killed by some trash mob or worse, by some dumb modifier. Something you can't even shoot back. How the -blam!-, you, the "devs" of this game, don't see this is beyond me. Of course, the reason is you don't play your damn game.

    The usual "git gud" crowd will come in here and argue that everything is fine. Then you look through their game history and all you'll find is the easiest spec in solo ops. My point has always been that it is fine as long as you are playing one of the few FOTM specs and are approaching everything as a solo run. The BIG issue is when you're trying to play something that isnt FOTM and are trying to use MM. That'll show you how overtuned the deltas currently are. Your team mates will die over and over again and when you're also on a class that can't just pull out a golden gun every 30 secs, to deal with the four champs your team mates pulled before they died, you're screwed. I would have loved to see some stats on non-reclaim fireteam MM activity/completions before and after ther delta change. I'm willing to bet it's not looking too good. But they wouldnt do that, instead they're showing a graph of how leveling has increased. Of course it has increased, we endured it because it was out first character to 550, it was probably on the class/spec we prefer to play and we had a bunch of saved bonus engrams to speed things up.
