Let me get this straight. You tubers and a select group are receiving surveys to get their take on the game, but someone that's been in these forums and in the game since day one get NOTHING? Why do you think we in these forums 'waste' time in here in the first place? Because WE are the ones who care and want to see this game succeed. Literally EVERYBODY already knows what these same people think because they monetize , exploit and milk it every single day. We have been through this SO MANY times before and ya'll don't seem to get the picture. You lost your casual audience because you either cater to these obsessive players that represent a very small niche and play way beyond normal, healthy limits.... or to the board room jokers who have managed to monetize every nook and cranny of an already dying game. If you ever see the movie War Games, it's about a computer that runs the same scenario a million times over whilst getting the same result every time until it learns to STOP because of the futility of running an unwinable "game". In this case Bungie is doing the same thing over and over, almost like clockwork, and in the same fashion, reaches out to the same people who like to tell everyone else what their opinions should be that end up making the game WORSE because the opinions of hardcore players that represent a very smalll portion of the actual players, which is WHY these are most of the players left. And you're going to double down again to make it worse? You simply don't have the numbers to take another hit of the same nonsense. There's nowhere left to go with this line of thinking. I think, at least, that the people that take the time to give input in these forums deserve at least that much respect. Unless the REAL players TRULY don't matter any more, in which case, you chose poorly. Giving the loudest people in the room all the time just screams desperation and damage control. This is not an election or a popularity contest where you cater to candidates and ignore the average voters, cuz THAT is what's happening. You simply cannot quantify your way to having a true vision for your game, at that point you are just codifying the board room mentality of making numbers work instead of a passion project that will do the job despite such antics for short term gain but with long term detriment. If you leave behind what's left of your player base like this, it's already over and our worst fears about the game are true. PS- As the game struggles, you think rebating these dungeons at 20 bucks a pop may help with some good will? These are VERY simple things that can go a long way. These sad "little fixes" just aint gonna cut the mustard this time around fam. I sure hope this Sony Studio director has some guts cuz MAJOR changes and simplications have to take place very soon, cuz Renegades is make or break for this franchise and everybody knows it.
