I have a good idea to bring some real momentum back into the game. Take it or leave it, but the way things are going now, it’s heading toward the end. Here’s how the story could continue: Humanity has recovered from its hardships. The next step is coming. The Empress of the Cabal and Saladin demand, as repayment for the Cabal’s support in the battle against the Witness, the liberation of the Cabal homeworld. A powerful speech from Zavala, Saladin, and the Empress ignites new hope. For the first time in a millennium, humanity goes on the offensive instead of defending. But that requires preparation. The Guardian — with the help of the bounty hunter network — is smuggled onto the Cabal homeworld Independence Day-style. A stolen Shar ship brings the Guardian in to disable the planet’s defense systems. Then comes the cinematic moment — the invasion begins! Once a foothold is established, all generals of Xivu Arath must be eliminated. From there, Bungie can take it wherever they want. New Exotics – especially armor • Set-based armor that can be enhanced through matching combinations (Diablo-style). Strategic Foothold (StarCraft II-style) • Plan attacks, modify troop strength, and upgrade equipment. Bounty Hunts • Story-driven and hidden hunts across planets with exclusive loot, ornaments, weapons, and armor sets you can customize individually (like the masks in the Halloween event). New Focus • Put pressure on Clovis Bray to develop a stable version of SIVA to make the invasion possible in the first place. New Characters • Relatives of the Empress who were thought to be dead — a hybrid between Cabal and Shar — playing a key role in the storyline. New PvPvE Activity (Titanfall 2-style) • Two teams (10v10), with Shar and Vex interfering. • 6–8 zones to capture in order to take over or destroy the enemy base (Battlefield-style), including vehicles and large-scale maps. Trials of Osiris (not my area) • Rework it. Listen to the community when it comes to PvP. I really hope this idea reaches someone and that you can make something out of it. It would be a real shame if my favorite game ever stopped existing. Best regards.
