What they also need to do is address the fact Onslaught, Coil, and Contest all start off on maximum difficulty, but the only one that became easier is Onslaught due to having it's rounds reduced from 50 to 30. They're all supposed to have an escalating difficulty, and in the case of Contest, modifiers are only supposed to activate after each round. Instead you'll start off round 1 with all modifiers when the only one that appears and says it activates is Chill Touch or whatever. 1 life, maximum difficulty right out the door, and more modifiers turned on at a time than there's supposed to be. And I'm pretty sure we're still getting less loot in each one compared to how they launched unless we have bonus engrams. And that's just a couple of the many reasons this game is failing so hard that if Renegades doesn't save it, they're not recovering before Marathon launches. Proof enough their QA department is gone or they don't think they're getting paid enough.

I have to say having tried to get through the first and second encounter only for most of the day only to exit this mode is the biggest bag of @&)$ in the game. 4 lives and no way to recover if you get slaughtered. If there was a part of the game that puts on display how inept this company has got it would be this mode. Someone’s asleep at the wheel or has already jumped ship. Cannot quite believe what they have done with this week with this mode.

***SNIPPED / REPOSTED *** I jumped into that earlier and quickly realised it was an error. On our 3-man team, I joined late, and was DoA and stayed that way most of the time. We had 1x strong player doing most of the heavy lifting…after 2x revives and 2x even quicker downs, our MVP bought it…and straight to orbit we went. I could have / maybe should have quit asap - but, rightly or wrongly, that ain’t how this old tortoise rolls… 😐 I felt sorry for the other 2x teammates…especially the MVP…what a waste of time / effort and energy it was for them! 😕 I shan’t be doing that again in a hurry. 🧐 That is all.
