I know this isnt what you're asking for since you stated its other people that keep dying/leaving, but just sharing a few pointers that helped my build: Try increasing your health stat, and run recup mod. There will be alot of Orbs on the ground and picking them up will give health. Orbs will drop more than the healing Wells, especially since you have attrition orbs on your Yeartide. Switch out the mint retrograde and run New melpais, the suspend feature helps alot to slow down tanky enemies. Run the healing grenade instead of the coldsnap. Coldsnap is good utility but that healing nade is direct health with short cooldown. Just suggestions, in the end run whatever you feel comfortable with.
