I understand that technically now you can get more drops than before because you can keep playing and farming. But that's assuming the game has a healthy player base. I recently started trying to play comp to try to get the hand cannon. I got my first one for doing the placement and haven't gotten one since. The player base is so small and it's even smaller for comp so when I'm queuing up to even get in a game it's taking sometimes like 15 to 25 minutes just to find a match. So I can only get a handful of games in a night after work because of this. And then you're just constantly being matched up against the exact same people and if you lost to them you tend keep losing to them because you just keep going against the same people that are already doing better than you. You don't even get a chance to play against someone that you have a better chance against not to mention when you come across a cheater you just keep getting matched against the same cheater because they're the only people playing because of the player count.
