I realize I don’t play PVE because of what you did to LFG
I was thinking about doing a raid, I used to do them all the time. I used to run the first couple of chests all the time in VoG on all 3 to get the spoils and then run the boss for whatever the new raid was 3 times a week every week to get red bars and exotics, I have hundreds of raid clears. I’m just realizing the reason I don’t do that anymore is because of what they did to lfg. There is no way for me to find specifically what I want anymore and no way for me to post for what I want. It’s a generic option drop down and it’s really making it so I just don’t play lol. I’m not sure why they did this but unless I’m missing key features on how to use this. This is not it. Why would they fix the one thing that wasn’t broken in the game. The amount of time they put into these drop downs like what a waste of time for one of the biggest downgrades in player interface. Bring the old one back if you want me to play end game pve like ever again.

4 Replies….I can relate. Ever since they removed legacy fireteams I’ve not once bothered with raids or dungeons. I find myself nearly always frustrated with fireteam finder.

I truly think a free text area should be enabled within Fireteam Finder. The drop down options, never really show the true picture, of what the person wants or needs, for the LFG fireteam. -

It definitely works for the majority of situations. However, there are niche scenarios that are a real pain without any way to describe them. I wish there was some sort of middle ground here.

I think the removal of free text was an attempt to combat the constant advertising of carry/paid services that filled the old lfg section. Seems that they took the approach that it’s easier/more effective/less time consuming to prevent the ads being created than it is to constantly admin the lfg. -

1 ReplyI -blam!- hate the new LFG. Legacy was perfect. I’ve used it since edge of fate came out to do the GM conquests, and will use them for the ultimate once I’m up to level, but I don’t use that -blam!- for anything else. The Xbox console LFG functions better.
