It would be thematically appropriate, and we know from the Prequels that purple Lightsabers are entirely possible. We've also seen blue (Arc), green (Strand), red (Solar?), white (Stasis?), and a smattering of other colors in the movies. I think there might have even been some yellow in there, somewhere.
What I'm getting at is, assuming the Lightsaber isn't a Relic like the Scythe, that it'd be really cool if we got a Lightsaber for each subclass, matching each subclass's colors.
As everyone knows: Fashion is the endgame.
Edit: Please don't make the Lightsabers just be a Relic.
Edit: Maybe White for Arc and Blue for Stasis.

There will be lightsaber components that players will need to collect with a focus on customization for combat styles and blade color. Components are scattered across the renegade activities including the dungeon.
