PVP no weapon audio - ongoing issue PS5

Here’s what I’ve noticed:
- after loading in to a match if you switch primary or secondary weapon, weapon audio is lost.
- if you switch back to original weapon or weapons you loaded in with the audio returns
- I’ve noticed this in both standard crucible and comp
- haven’t experienced this yet in Trials
- haven’t experienced this in any PVE

Yep, this is happening on Xbox Series X as well. You cannot hear opponent’s weapons firing at all - only the impact of the shots. Initially thought it was just me missing something, but players letting rip with The Last Word at point blank range and there’s no weapon audio. Think it’s happening with some roaming supers too - normally they have a ‘sizzling’ sort of passive audio whenever the super is active, but that doesn’t seem to be present either.
