Another This Week in Destiny rolls by, and again — no roadmap, no dev podcast, no “State of the Game”, nothing.
Just another list of fixes, cosmetics, and event reminders while the actual direction of Destiny 2 remains completely in the dark.
We’re heading toward Renegats — supposedly the next big chapter — but what happens after that?
What’s Bungie’s plan for the live game?
What happens to the core playlists?
What happens to PVE and Crucible when population numbers are already struggling?
At this point, the silence isn’t mysterious — it’s deafening.
The Real Issue
No one’s asking for hype trailers or fancy CGI teasers.
We just want clarity.
The playerbase deserves to know whether the lights are staying on past Renegats or if this is the slow sunset nobody wants to admit is happening.
Even a short “Here’s where we’re headed” post would go a long way.
Instead, we get nothing — while people log in, look around, and log right back out.
The Community Feels It
Every conversation lately sounds the same:
“What’s next?”
“Is Bungie even communicating anymore?”
“Why do PVP and PVE both feel abandoned?”
This silence breeds frustration, not excitement.
Silence doesn’t build hype anymore — it builds mistrust.
TL;DR
We’re not mad at the devs on the ground — we’re mad at the vacuum.
The communication gap is doing more damage than any balance patch ever could.
Come on, Bungie. Just talk to us.
No PR filters. No corporate tone. Just human words about where this thing is going.
🍺💀

6 RepliesSince the general consensus here is that there won't be anything after Renegades, there's no need for a roadmap.
