Will take all the fun out of Renegades as everything will be -30 power for those 500 or more (which based on the TWID will be allot of player as there has been great progress in the levelling system)
Player engagement will drop very quickly.

1 ReplyIt isn't even significantly more difficult in most cases, just tedious. Significantly.

1 ReplyWould be better if they switch to difficulty level instead. Same thing, no grind needed

2 RepliesIf there has been great progress in the leveling system, it’s new to me as I’m 326 and it’s not going up fast. You got any tricks?

I agree. I have to play ultimate and I dont want to do it anymore. If they had added something fun and rewarding then maybe but the only thing worth playing right now is the event other then that its not worth the time. The deltas and mods and scoring should be completely optional. Let me play with anyone overpowered character and still get good rewards . They can make everyone happy that way because we aren't all the same.

Games cooked remove delta

Has anyone actually done the math on how long under absolutly perfect conditions it takes to level up? How much level do you get for getting A+? From what i am seeing the 300 to 500 grind is pretty much in the hundreds of hours at this point if you consistantly get bad luck and get repeate gear. Anyone got any math on this?

5 RepliesPower deltas are good and healthy for any game, IMO. However, it shouldn’t be everywhere. People forget that this is still only a video game. Many people play it for the fun factor, not for the “challenge.” Some things should indeed be challenging and feel like you’ve accomplished something upon completing it. Other areas should feel like a relaxing walk in the park. Both can exist and both should exist.

They are kind of between a rock and a hard place right now. The plan with EoF was to slowly grind our way up to farm tier 5 gear in high difficulty, and restart every 6 months. But it blew up in their face of course because that was a terrible idea. So now they had to hijack their initial framework to bring the fun back which they did but they have to reinvent a completely new system post Renegades.

Sure, rewards were improved and sped up the power climb (which is just a number seeing how we never actually get anywhere) but how many people keep playing once they get there on their first character? If you try to play it on anything other than your best spec it's just incredibly boring, tedious and in many cases impossible - because a lot of players in MM are having the same issues so if you're not going in there with the ability to completely carry them you'll probably fail. Would have been more interesting to see how many per capita completitions of fireteam and pinnacle activities we've had since the delta implementation - because I'm willing to bet it's gone down a lot.

1 ReplyAgreed. But Bungie doesn't care.
