Edge of Fate was the first time we didn't get a catalyst for a pre-existing weapon unless you count delays and mid-seasonal content like the extra few months we waited for Beyond Light or the 30th anniversary when heading into Witch Queen. We got catalysts for all the new exotics this season. We got reworks for 2 others. But the last time we got a catalyst was back at the beginning of Heresy in I think February. This makes almost 10 months without a catalyst for weapons already in the game. But let's look at how many are still missing catalysts and when would've been or will be a perfect time to introduce them where applicable: * Chaperone when Amanda died. It was her family's gun, it would've been fitting. * Conditional Finality when we dealt with Nezarec again was a good time for it if not in the raid. * Wish Ender when Mara returned or when Riven returned. * Khovostov when we went back to the plaguelands here in Ash and Iron. You know... The place we got the exotic Khovostov in D1? Yeah, that would've been perfect. * Euphony during Excision or even as a puzzle or something in the raid * Wave Splitter, it's only been waiting since season 4 * Tarrabah back in season of the haunted. * Divinity, but I have nothing for that. * Collective Obligation when we went back into the pyramid on Savathuns thrown world * If we ever have to go back to the crafting station for a story quest, that will probably be fitting for the exotic glaives * One thousand voices, also when Mara or Riven returned * Anarchy, I have nothing for * Eyes of Tomorrow I have nothing for * Lament when Clovis Bray returned in season of the seraph * Winterbite I have nothing for * Parasite I have nothing for * Deterministic Chaos when we next have to go to Neptune * Microcosm when we next have to go to the Pale Heart And the next up that would be perfect would be Last Word in Renegades because of the Dredgen we're going to be dealing with. Seriously if you're done introducing catalysts for older weapons can you please just tell your players instead of making them wait what's looking to be a whole year or longer without one in a game that I highly doubt is going to last the next 18 years let alone the next 2 at the rate things are going. Either you'll have abandoned Destiny for Marathon which has already been deemed DOA, or you'll have by some miracle survived long enough as a company you could've made Destiny 4 at that point. I've never played either of them, but you're no World of Warcraft or EverQuest being the two longest running MMOs I know of.
