I 2-manned Ultimate Haunted Altars last night... not an ego post, a kit to try;
I haven't gotten the perfect 63 Mothkeepers I wanted... but pretty close, so I switched to lock...
I had 10k candy and 2 exotics to focus, so I pulled for a new Contraverse.
I got a decent one (still going to try for better) and so I decided to build it out.
For Axion Bolts... for which I've seen a thumbnail from SneakyB the previous day.
I don't know what his kit is... didn't watch the video.
Well... it was the second instance I played, only 3 people spawned in... then one left, and we never got re-popped.
Axion Bolts are so strong you barely have any time to use your weapons. All I was doing was throwing unlimited Contraverse Axion bolts.

I duo'd the alters the first day of the event. I did not want to run the matchmade variant because of the soft-lock issues, so a friend and I ran together. I ran contraverse-scatter, she ran a getaway buddy build. We ran 4-5 times to get loot, partially softlocked at boss a couple times, but managed to break the shield with pumpkins. For my contraverse build, I use Mint, Yeartide Apex and Boomslang with Jolting Feedback (mainly used to build elemental honing and apply jolt to the bigger enemies). Yeartide is demo/chaos, I mainly use it to gain radiant, but having demo makes it such a time saver to reload while charging the grenade...
