This has 100% been asked before but there is absolutely no way I can do this apart from begging Bungie to just unlink it. Context: in 2020, I made a PS account for my now-ex-girlfriend. She wanted to play Destiny 2, so I did, linked it to my cross-save. Now fast forward to 6 years later, I want to move to Steam from the Microsoft Store on PC. But I simply cannot change anything on my cross save and link a Steam account unless I log into the PS account. So problem one, the email on that account was changed, I have verified that via the original email it was made under, the password was also changed, I cannot obtain the serial number of the playstation because I do not wish to message my ex after 6 years of not speaking just to ask about the serial number of the playstation I am not even sure she owns. Considering the account hasn't been logged into since probably 2020. All I know of this account is that it has Destiny 2 own it, maybe PayPal is linked to it, and the ID of the account. PlayStation support, of course, can't do anything; it would breach privacy, and it sounds like fraud. Bungie, will you please just free me from the Microsoft store?
