Bungie should keep the festival helmets light after event. I think it would bring some good will towards the players

It's really cool having a helmet that can slot in different armor set bonuses allowing people some flexibility. We had an entire armor set for solstice in addition to the weapons why not keep the helmet. It kind has that niche feeling that artificer armor had. And can save a lot of vault space being able to cover multiple sets. And has the trade-off that you can't use it with builds that use exotic helmets. It was so nice that on my hunter I never got a t5 helmet before the end of the event this has allowed my hunter to get that extra little stat boost with my solstice set.

Before the last portal update that affected your rewards they nearly had it. If you’d hit 550 you actually felt powerful in activities, you didn’t need to have all the crap modifiers on a card to get T5 loot and the enemies were capped at 500. Was it perhaps too easy? Probably, but like I’ve mentioned in other posts the conquests should serve as the activity that is set at a fixed difficulty/delta for those players that like to play with a challenge. The fact the game got way more fun post 550 was to me Bungie’s way of tipping their cap to us, a way of saying you’ve surmounted the grind, it may not have been easy or fun but you’ve done it so enjoy. There’s an argument to be made that it’s not healthy for the game being able to run around in ultimate difficulty nuking everything while earning T5 gear like it’s two-a-penny and the old me would’ve agreed BUT given the current state of the game and the fact the player base is on its knees, I mean what are we trying to do here? Inject the fun back into the game and I mean stupid fun, potentially bordering craftening levels of fun, create some good will among the player base and then gradually fade it out to restore balance.
