D2 needs an AMBASSADOR REWARD SYSTEM. As a guild leader several times over. Here is why everyone has quit over the years.

These are the same issues that have only worsened as the player base becomes less and less newbie friendly and more demanding. It's too hard. - Even IF the campaign roadmap was clear, the activities are geared toward people who already know the ropes. The player base is less and less because the only input this game gets are from those who play constantly and always want MORE whilst leaving everyone else behind, thus widening the gap further and further till only the die hards and Youtubers remain. These people ARE NOT the backbone of your game, but Bingie caters to this group almost exclusively. The community is very gated and most often UNHELPFUL. -Even most raid posts are without mics, which is insanely exclusive in and of itself. I have sherpaed teams before and it is the most rewarding and satisfying experience in all of gaming IMO. The vast majority of players will never experience the raids properly though, largely due to the fact that "teaching" posts are very few and far between and even most of those are not even proper teaching runs. An actual teaching run requires a mic, first of all, and most of those don't take the time or have the patience to communicate efficiently. So what you are left with is all this time spent making raids for a fraction of the already dwindled player base. The same can be said about alot of the harder content as well to a slightly lesser degree. An unecessarily convoluted system, almost to the extreme.-We all know the Portal is just more menus on top of menus with other menus behingd the menus we already had. (Sheesh!) The excess fat needs trimmed severely. This has been discussed TO TEDIUM with all the arbitrary numbers, resources, currencies, menus and outside sources to navigate. Simply put, it's just NOT FUN. All we need is loot to chase and builds with easily accessible content to utilize them and continue the chase. That's it. So many people have left because they were just "tired of keeping up" with the ever exspanding plethora of unfun, non combative "things to do".KISS. Keep it simple S--- cuz when it comes to naviagting the game, simple IS just better. If the menu doesn't have food on it, it's just WORK. All this to say that there is an army of seasoned players 'at the ready' whose potential to uplift the game have been ignored, or rather squandered, as a healthy community is one that can properly help each other and being rewarded for doing such. There are many ways to do it, but Bungie seriously needs to put Eververse loot and the like to work and stop being so stingy all the time. Imagine if A huge swath of Eververse loot opened up if you participated in a proper sherpa style ambassador program. Literally all you have to do is take existing players and loot pools and put them to work in a positive way. The assets are all there and Bungie just sits on them waiting for someone to buy 15 to 20 dollar armor sets while the player base goes through death pangs. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Stop being "LOOT SCROOGES" and holding onto Eververse like it's your mammy. Use it to save your game already. As another post stated, this game punishes you for suceeding. But I look at it differently. This game simply throws out roadblock after roadblock just to play the parts we want to play and the 'price tag' to play that content is often so insurmountable that , especially new players, figure out all the hurdles they have to get over to do it and it's just not worth it. FORGET all the Youtubers with endless time on their hands and the small percentage of complainers that play way beyond healthy or reasonable norms, cuz very soon that's all that will be left. Thanks for your time. I hope ya'll can trim the fat and do some simple fixes to truly make this game accessible again. As a day one player, I'd truly hate to see this game die with a whimper. The Bungie name, and all the employees that pour themselves out to make things happen, deserve better. Peace and chicken grease
