Sorrows' Harbor on the moon has always felt good to me. I'm not talking about this horrible Halloween event. Playing this on Ultimate feels like garbage. It's incoherent at best and I feel utterly weak when playing it. It's not fun.
Heresy felt good even if it got boring rather quick. It had a level of difficulty that overtime I adjusted to via better weapons, learning curves, exploration, and build crafting.
The Pale Heart feels good... And highly balanced. Probably one of my favorite places to just test some gear out or just have some mindless fun. I even enjoy the abilities you can get for a 24 hour period which I think is way to short but it's still very balanced.
I haven't done a bunch of dungeons as I'm a solo player and I've never done a raid, however the dungeons I have played and completed have all felt rather balanced with little cheese needed. Even older exotic missions such as the one for Revision Zero are well balanced, a lot of fun, and feel coherent.
I have not felt these things since the portal arrived along with EOF. The difficulties really aren't difficulties. It's just a lot of incoherent gameplay with bullet sponge enemies who have endless heat seeking bullets/projectiles and abilities to overwhelm you with. It's a power level grind where you never feel the power all the while being beaten by players who cheat and create a false sense for these non play testing developers to think the content is fun, enjoyable, and attainable for all.
I don't know what I'm grinding for anymore because taking said weapons into crucible or trials is pointless as a cheating player with low power level and trash guns will still outplay you.
This game has lost its feel and identity in the strangest way I've ever witnessed in a video game.
Almost unprecedented.
