The most blatant cheating I’ve seen
Loaded into red rumble yesterday, everyone had vortex grenades spawn at their feet every second and killing them. Killcam showed the guy they came from rapidly teleporting around the map. He won in 15 seconds. He was in a fireteam too, was with someone else carrying them?
Reported in game, but nothing will come of it obviously. Can’t post the link because of name and shame either! This game is a joke
EDIT: logged in last night and got a “thank you for reporting” message saying someone was banned. Was it this guy? Idk

Edited by Golden: 10/27/2025 11:51:29 PMI looked at the guys stats too, overall 5.5 KD (okay nothing crazy, maybe it’s a really good player with an alt) Then you look at his match history constantly 10+KD on every match, even managed to get a 40KD on one of his matches without any weapons used 😭

Though I understand why because of false reports, there are other ways to shame them not on here.

Just played against a Hunter that froze everyone with ZERO cool down on his abilities. And he also seemed to have unlimited heavy. With zero heavy spawns and none from the Headless Guy. Just loads of heavy. But I can't "name and shame". This is an absolute joke of a mess.

4 RepliesI played a guy in trials doing the exact thing you are talking about. Reporting them in game isn’t enough. You have to actually go to bungie and report the player with an in depth report. You can even have recordings of the cheating sent in. I reported the guy with this and have done so prior with one other and he got banned. Not sure what will happen with the guy that I just reported that was doing just as you described with the grenades. Cheaters are just pure trash!

2 RepliesI just play it; once it starts, I just start an emote someone kills me then I start an emote then someone kills me then I start an emote. Oh no I’m six place oh look at that. I still get strange coins, candy and 2 to 3 loot items sometimes more powerful than what I have…. Using this I have leveled up all my characters and leveled up on my weapons and I’m now starting to work up the vault. Lol… but yeah, cheater suck.

1 ReplyAt this point cheaters aren’t even pretending anymore. Just matched with someone who could matterspark, move at incredible speeds, obviously invulnerable and with a killer touch (literally). Reported but I’m pretty sure I’ll see him again next weekend.
