Why doesn't she just go to the one where the golden age didn't collapse and leave us alone?

That would break the finite-central-curve, and Maya is too boring to remove herself from the game like an Evil Morty. We get to watch all her boring drama like a poorly written play about a Chainsmoking-robot that acts like the Hayden Christensen Anakin of Destiny, except Anakin became a cool villain and Maya is boring robot that can't figure out time.
