What a Joke
What's the point of playing solo content when the rewards don't match what you do? Ultimate. Clear the level with time to spare. Eliminate everything. Still no 5-Tier gear rewarded. What a joke.

1 ReplySo I finally figured it out. The reason why I was unable to get to the correct A+ score was because in the mission they have an objective on the side that you can see with your ghost once it starts. Not sure it is random or the same each time. In the last round I played, I rushed through on K1 taking out the scanner/jammers (3), then got to the end boss with tons of time left. I noticed on the left side of my screen when I brought up my ghost that I needed to get 20 precision kills, so I took my time getting head shots which was kind of difficult with a voltshot weapon, but managed to pull it off and had time to spare, too. I received a 5 tier weapon, which was garbage, but a 5-tier none the less. So that was the root of the issue. Someone mentioned Objectives to me and never realized there was an added objective that I could see through my ghost once the level started.

Skipping objectives or not making the timer will not earn you T5 sorry you have issues with ultimate level content.

Do you have the 15% score boost? I see a lot of ppl complaining about this n ask this. That 15 bonus always gets me a+

Ultimate is hard at first, but no more hard than Grandmaster and Master were at first. As soon as your power level is on par with the activity, you won't even have to think about it. It's easier to get A-Tier now more than ever as well. Bungie changed it so added modifiers don't increase enemy power level. Aside from Ultimate Conquests, Ultimate Portal activities are no diferent from Grandmaster ones once you get to 500 power. Bungie also made the grind to 500 power 50x faster. I see you're at 470. So Ultimate is harder than not. Honestly, once you're 480, it's no more difficult than Legendary Kepler. You aren't far at all from easy Ultimate runs. Light tenacity will get you there in less than 2 hours if you grind.

For example at 550, you need a C score, which is basically impossible to not reach. You will be showered in tier 5s.
