i think people just keeps missing some critical info, RASPUTIN IS GONE and all things made by him are gone too and this happened 2 YEARS AGO.
SIVA's story started and ended in rise of iron which the entire campaign was about destroying SIVA once for all which means no replication chambers since aksis hoarded everything for himself, there's no point on bringing it back without destroying the lore again.
Quicksilver nanites are being used since its a direct upgrade to SIVA which means:
- can bond with paracausal entities
- can generate structures even faster and better
- doesnt rely on a warmind so they can be commanded and unlikely to go haywire
- can regenerate itself
there's no point on bringing it back since we already have a better and upgraded one already in use, SIVA lore wise is G.O.N.E and outbreak perfected is out of the equation since it cannot be controlled.

"SIVA CAN'T COME BACK, ITS GONNNNE!!!!!111!!!!" Yeah, like Cayde, or Oryx, or Uldren, or Efrideet, or Mara Sov, or Eris Morne, or Savathun, or Maya, or Ana, or Saint, or Nezarec, or Nocris, or Taniks, or the red legion ×100, or... take your -blam!- pick. They write the -blam!- story. There is no cosmic law they have to follow, and every lame -blam!- excuse given by the devs is just that. They've brought much less interesting things back, much more often, with even worse, less sensible reasoning. We're literally fighting the red legion "from a parallel time" ffs. But no, having SIVA back is toooo much for the canon. It simply won't make sense. If I rolled my eyes any harder they'd come out their sockets. As for that lame sloppy grey goop, yeah, no. Never going to be as good as SIVA, no matter what some lore purist tells me exists in the lore cards, somewhere, but never in the actual -blam!- game.

4 RepliesYou are really playing the "We killed something so it can't come back" excuse ? Here we go.... Oryx Uldren Fikrul Lakshmi Cayde Savathun Eramis Riven Saint Taniks Skolas Omnigul Undying Mind Trickster Mindbender The boss from Presage which is just the Baron from Forsaken Mara And most recently, Eris Bungie will retcon the fug out of anything if the narrative team needs it , they could have brought SIVA back, they just don't want to acknowledge b team filler content is better than the crap they are currently coming up with

1 ReplyEdited by xbroggiex: 10/19/2025 4:07:44 PMSomeone hasn't read the raid armor from Wrath...
And how long do the effects of SIVA last? ~SIVA.MEM.CL006 Well, SIVA requires no external power source, so…forever. ~SIVA.MEM.WB007 Just give it a directive, and it won't stop until it gets a new directive. ~SIVA.MEM.WB008
also, SIVA EXPOSURE EMPOWERS GUARDIANS LIGHT.

The fallen should should steal quicksilver and make wrath of the machine 2

Yeah but technically SIVA isn’t even meant to die in the first place

3 RepliesWell, they have played that game before, a couple of times actually. Everytime, we get people saying retcon, or that Bungie gave in. There are several ways for Rasputin to be reinstated into the lore and the game, none of which deal with retcon. I don't want Rasputin itself, I don't want the Warmind, but templates are there...it really comes down to Ana being able to. I'm sure there are plenty of people out in the City that can help build the AGI network to simulate an ASI, but to me that is the representation of the nine, and their imagination upon reality. Daydreaming thinking machines fed data from singularities. Anyways, again, they have done this act atleast twice, and there are viable ways to bring it back. The stranger is going to be the first. I forget what the second was, but it was recent.
