It Seems Monte Has A Thing For Melee Supers [Monte Carlo Bug]
I'm a Hunter Main and I've been experiencing this bug ever since Monte got his well needed buff to finally utilize the knife on the gun. I thought to myself "Surely SOMEONE would find this bug eventually and report to Bungie". I mean this is pretty noticeable so i thought this fix would happen pretty quick, but months, then YEARS go by and still nothing. To be exact this buff came out in Auguste of 2023. THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO! I guess no one uses Monte anymore :(.....WELL SCREW IT! If no one will report THEN I GUESS I WILL!

Description:
When Locking in the Bayonet on Monte it completely negates any melee super and turns it into a poor attempt to use the catalyst instead, making you a sitting duck until you manage to strike a character. This puts me at a HUGE disadvantage in PVP and PVE respectably. It still allows you to use supers that doesn't require striking such as Blade Barrage or Silence and Squall.
Off Screen:
I also tested it on Titan and Warlock:
Titan:
*Fist of Havoc Doesn't allow you to Light Attack but you can Still Heavy Smash the Ground
*Sentinel Shield Still allows to "Throw" the Shield and Block Incoming Damage, But won't allow you strike during your Super
Warlock:
* Dawn Blade Works as Normal
*Actually....ALL SUPERS I'VE TESTED WORK PROPERLY! (I'm guessing because the Warlock is always throwing something and is actually not using Monte Carlo.
Side Note: I can completely avoid this bug by switching my weapon before I go into my super...But the moment I forget....
(Hands To The Sky) OH PLEASE GODS OF BUNGIE HEAR MY PRAYER!
