Not only did you decide to rub it in our faces that you refuse to bring Siva back. The mission finishes by pulling Quicksilver out of another timeline. A literal time portal.
Are you serious?
You gave yourself a legit excuse as to why it should be siva. Then once again slapped us in the face with something that we dont want.
This should be a siva weapon and you know it.
Unless it gets changed to what it should be. I refuse to use that or anything else referencing quicksilver.

Pretty small group that care about the lore. I played the whole campaign at 5am while the wife and kid were asleep with no sound. Smashing x through every convo and cut scene. Don’t care at all about the story. I’m here to chill and shoot some aliens. I think there’s a lot more of the latter than the former.

9 RepliesWe have been given multiple reasons in-story why SIVA isn't coming back over the course of the main storyline. We destroyed the main facility for producing SIVA in "Rise of Iron". SIVA in Sol was under the direct control of the Warmind Rasputin, and he sacrificed his life in Season of the Seraph to disable the Warsat Network to stop Xivu Arath's gambit. Barring the SIVA in Outbreak Perfected, not only is the main means of producing SIVA gone, but the one entity in Sol able to control and give commands to SIVA is also gone. Even if they had brought SIVA back, I'd half-expect the current community to just dismiss it as "desperation", cashing in on "nostalgia" in a "manipulative attempt" to bring back players. There would need to be a good reason for SIVA to suddenly be back in the game in the present timeline, not just because a certain section of the community wants it. Retroactively, the best shot would be if or when Wrath of the Machine is brought forward into Destiny 2, finally reprising all the raids from Destiny 1.

That exotic mission was the most anti siva hate propaganda I have ever seen from Bungie. It was honestly laughable. They even have hidden audio if you play the mission with outbreak that's even more anti siva.
