Unplayable for average players
This game was great! Been playing for 11 years and I cant even recognize it. They have jacked everything up so much its almost impossible to play. The difficulty is beyond insane!! I am currently level 324 and just ran some fireteam quick play master and my exotic gun was hitting for 4!! 4, and that was in the sweet spots!! Wtaf?!?! Are you joking? Had 4 people quitting out, and now we randomly explode. Do you, bungie, even test any of this? Or do you just rely on the you tubers or the folks that fly around with some magic that I have no idea to do?
Stop with all your BS. Make the gam fun again AND STOP LISTENING TO YOU TUBERS!! And remember that most of us are just normal people. And we, as normal players is what supports this game!!

7 RepliesI'm just chiming in to say that I agree, sadly. The last time I tried to do a Fireteams Op I got absolutely walloped, kind of felt like it was a waste of my time to even try, now I'm LL360 and when I play I'm doing Solo Ops, because that's what I can do. I don't want to deny good players the opportunity to do hard content! I just don't like feeling like a useless member of my fireteam, I don't like feeling like the weak link, and as a middling to average player I often feel like I'm the weak link. This isn't good for my teammates, either; who wants to bring a mediocre player into a Nightfall or Grandmaster? I'm a liability in group content, so I stick to Solo Ops. Some folks will say "Just don't play the harder content!" and that's fair, but then I'm not advancing my character, I'm not getting Light Levels, I'm not getting high Tiered loot, which is kind of the entire point of the Portal system in the first place. We're disincentivized from playing easier content, we're incentivized to play harder content, it's kind of a catch/22. I miss old school Strikes, where I could drop in and still feel like I'm contributing. I don't contribute much at Master and Grandmaster levels; I'm the guy you have to keep rezzing up.
