The game is all portal and zero exploration
Pale Heart, Kepler, and whatever next likely. The exploration in the public areas are no more and everything in the portal is ran on a timer. Where's Destiny? I met friends out in the wild, not in the portal. Most activities kick you back to space afterwards so there's hardly a chance to even consider pairing up with anyone new. And my friends that play this game are becoming few and far between.
Bring back open world and make proximity chat with option to toggle off or on.

When it launched my theory of the portal (and desaturation of the Destinations map) was so that they could phase out destinations and not have to program large areas outside of mission areas once they had us conditioned to accept it.
